Who We Are
Our website is BetterPickOnline, available at https://betterpickonline.com. We create content around home decor, DIY, smart living, and work from home ideas.
What Information We Collect
We do not require you to create an account or log in to read our content. However, we may collect basic information in the following situations:
If you leave a comment, we collect the data shown in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser information to help with spam detection. An anonymized version of your email address may be shared with Gravatar to check if you have a profile picture associated with it. You can read Gravatar’s privacy policy at automattic.com/privacy.
If you upload images to the site, avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS) in those files, as visitors may be able to extract that information.
Cookies
If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for your convenience. These cookies last for one year.
We do not run a login page for general visitors. Cookies related to login sessions do not apply to you as a reader.
If you view or interact with embedded content from other websites, such as videos or social media posts, those third-party sites may collect data about you, use their own cookies, and track your interaction with that content.
How Long We Keep Your Data
If you leave a comment, it and its metadata are kept indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments without holding them in a queue.
Your Rights
You have the right to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you. You can also request that we delete it, unless we are legally required to keep it. To make a request, contact us.
Third Party Services
Our site may use third-party tools for analytics or performance. These services have their own privacy policies and may collect data independently.
Visitor comments may also be checked through an automated spam detection service.
